Mugison When we arrived at the patronaat with our two camcorders, ready to shoot an acoustic show, we were in for a surprise. We walked in and saw five electric guitars and a drumkit. The night was a noisy one, they rocked hard, but they were fantastic. Mugison is one of three great names coming out of Iceland in recent years, the others being Björk and Sigur Rós. Mugison is just as eccentric, doing what he wants to and doing it well. If he is playing in your area, go and see him.

The concert was filmed with a Sony FX1 and a HC1 HDV cameras and my old holiday cam, a Canon MV600i. It was added at the last moment as the show was a lot bigger that we had expected.
