Heidi Foley is someone you don't forget. No matter how long into the night you work, her spirits stay high. The Small Hours was shot in three nights in the summer of 2005. Three nights is not enough, so we worked, literally, into the small hours of the morning. Her performance was great, no matter how late it was and how exhausted she was from acting at night and playing a tourist in Amsterdam during the day. No small feat for someone acting for the first time.
